this madness by hypnothalamus this madness by hypnothalamus
once we were innocent
and pure
no knowledge of the dark
and evil
but moments shifted
our lives changed
and all the purity and calmness
were slowly overcome
by madness

I see similar things like this normally and when I zoom in on cell phone pics they are everywhere, either they are really there or I really have gone mad.
Some are little people, almost like little blue gremlin imps that like to knock things out of peoples hands (cups of ice at 7-11 for example) or try to trip people because they think it's funny and that very few people can actually see them and those who do are considered crazy if you say anything about it.

I wish I could hang that sculpture on my wall.

When will Deviantart start doing 3D printing...?

there are a few sites that do that but besides small sculptures things are really expensive
ownage (for characters), shapeways, protodemon, moddler...
I heard some big company (HP ?) will try to make consumer 3D printers and I guess more will follow
some sites already sell build-at-home 3D printers below 1000-2000$
for now I think I'll stick to traditional sculpture, but I'm also interested in creating parts for special machines I have in mind
:D

I was making a test in 2.5D painting and liked how it came out
the original was a mesh with no paint :D
I could have added colors afterwards but I like this for now

Looks great. Congrats!
May I ask some techos?
Did you do a base mesh before sculpting, or did you work from zsphere or something like this, more "intuitive"?

thanks
I started from a simple sphere mesh
the final 3D object is here [link]
then I just used the object to do the 2.5D painting :)
