It's interesting. I'm curious, however, as to why it's a western? It is to the point though. ;P

You're like a fortune cookie without the fortune.

You're a cookie.

And you shall forever henceforth be known as 'cookie'. :lmao:

On the subject of which, for forever to live up to it's all time status, does it have to encompass all time that went before it?:O

#
Step 1

Create a cookie. To delete a cookie, one needs to exist. To create a cookie, all you need is a call to the class, the name of the cookie, and the data you wish to save.

HttpCookie eHowCookie = new HttpCookie("Hello");
eHowCookie.Value = "Say Hello";
Response.Cookies.Add(eHowCookie );
#
Step 2

Ensure the cookie exists. There's no point in deleting a cookie that doesn't exist, so ensure the cookie is not null before deleting it. In this example, if the "Hello" cookie returns null, then the cookie does not exist.

HttpCookie cookie = Request.Cookies["Hello"];
#
Step 3

Delete the cookie. Delete the cookie by setting its expiration date in the past.

Response.Cookies["Hello"].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(-1);
#
Step 4

If you have multiple cookies set, you can delete all cookies by looping through each one.

string[] sitecookies = Request.Cookies.AllKeys;
foreach (string cookie in sitecookies )
{
Response.Cookies[cookie].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(-1);
}
#
Step 5

Delete a cookie automatically by setting an expiration date on the client. This will delete the cookie from the machine once it expires. The following deletes a cookie within five days from the current date.

Response.Cookies["Hello"].Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(+5);
