Hello

I'm using an iPad to follow link. It comes up as a file named vision .swf
Perhaps I should do this on my Mac using a formal browser? Since I do not know what an "SWF" file is.

hey, it's a html page with a SWF (Flash Video) embedded in it
I just checked in Windows/Chrome, it works well, the tablet probably doesn't recognize that particular format, so yeah just try it on a computer

hmm, now that I am at my Mac, deviantArt does not show your original message which had the link. Would you mind sending the link one more time? sorry for being a pain in the butt.
Thanks

Oh this I like VERY much.

Very cool image ... and it is a SCULPTURE! :wow:

Lucian, I have said before and I'll say once again, it is no wonder why you are my most favourite / most talented / well rounded "artiste" here on deviantART. ;)

Well done. Well done indeed.

Best wishes,

thanks, yeah it was a very simple technique and a quite surreal effect I got with this one, I'll have to do some more eyes live this

Very cool.

And once again, this is a sculpture?

Is this blown glass?

Almost has a "filigree glass" appearance to it which makes it all the more realistic (i.e. due to the tissue folds / patterns located within the iris portion of the eye).

You can view some stunning up close images of what I am talking about at the following link: [link]

Do enjoy!

superb!!! the images are great
yes it's a sculpture and the eye is made of clear resin in a transparent plastic sphere with a FIMO sculpture as iris - the trapped bubbles are due to the technique I used :)

Also, I just did a further search on the photographer responsible for the macro eye / iris images.

His name is "Suren Manvelyan" and his personal website can be accessed here: [link]

__________

01. More eye images (Human) here: [link]

02. More eye images (Animal Kingdom) here: [link]

Also, be sure to check out his series titled "Ballet Of Ghosts" as some of the images remind me of your abstract female form creations (i.e. very flowing / elongated limbs and bodies / etc.). Pretty cool.

Take care and do enjoy!
