I don't really know in a way once you start creating, it becomes easier to get ideas since you build up a [huge] "library" of metaphors, elements that you have already used, and these serve later, your constructs-metaphors become more coherent, more powerful the most important thing is to start - at first the creations will look a bit naive (I feel this way about my first works - and they become better with time, you find your language)
as for the way to get there... you take notebooks everywhere you go (small (A6) that fit into the pocket, or A5 etc.) and draw anything that comes to mind, combine elements, symbols etc. and you slowly build your "library"
Thanks for the reply, bringing a notebook i've been trying to do lately but at the moment i lack a small one so i always seem to leave it at home Need to buy a new small one! Anyway, your art is brilliant, keep it up
men i want to see that one but whit the guy merged with the horse Beksinski style and a second head and more limbs!, or maybe you already did it and this is an old sketch but i'm too lazy to go trough your gallery again oh men good one nevertheless! update i rushed trough it and re-found this [link] so added to the craziness i spout before make the horse a bull! this must be my most intrusive comment so far sorry about that, but it the idea just hit me and i had to post it.
